The Lexis Returnee and Bilingual Program is proud to present its international winter camp! For nearly 30 years Lexis has been committed to the highest quality English education at the K-12 levels including university prep. This year we have four exciting outings planned, along with arts, foods, crafts, lots of English communication time and experience based learning taught by native English instructors from the United States and Canada.
We're excited about our upcoming Winter Camp, where education meets pure fun! Guided by seasoned teachers skilled in creating immersive English environments, we offer a camp that's more than just language learning. From specially designed study sessions based on English proficiency to winter-themed activities, we aim to challenge and entertain every child, whether they're returnees, native English speakers, or hard working students from our Lexis Children's English Program. This is the perfect blend of educational rigor and winter fun, tailored to give your child an exceptional experience.
We have made it possible this year to attend our Tokyo winter school kids event for three days or four days. Please check the flier for pricing.
All students will receive an original sweatshirt, regardless of whether they attend for three or four days.
Lexis Winter School Day Camp - Basic Schedule for 2023
Day 1: (Tuesday 12/26) AM: English Study, Gingerbread Cookie Decoration, PM: Bowling with Private tour of bowling facilities behind the pins (Lunch included!)
Day 2 (Wednesday 12/27): AM: English Study, Snow Globe Making, PM: Rock Climbing (Lunch included!)
Day 3 (Thursday 12/28): All Day English Outing: Visit the Tama Zoo (Lunch included!)
Day 4 (Friday 12/29): All Day English Outing: Ice Skating at Roppingi Hills (Lunch included!)

Winter Camp 2022
About 2022: Last year we had a fantastic camp. We went rock climbing and bouldering locally in Mitaka. We enjoyed bowling in the Kichijoji neighborhood. We visited The Polar Science Museum in Tachikawa and had lunch at the massive Lala Port Shopping Center. We went ice skating at Roppongi Hills outdoor ice skating facility where we let students choose their own lunches at a variety of restaurants. The children were encouraged to try new things, work together, communicate entirely in English, and most importantly have fun.
Winter Camp 2021
About 2021: In previous years we have done a variety of things during the winter vacation holidays around Tokyo. In 2021, we attended a space museum and learned about the planets of our solar system. By integrating augmented reality, "AR" into our classroom, students had a chance to experience the true vastness of space. The camp was limited because of the CoVid-19 but we were still able to visit Tokyo Dome, enjoy roller skating, go bowling, experience a moon-walk, visit a planetarium, and better understand our universe, all in a matter of a 4 day winter day camp.
