International Kindergarten Spring School Day Camp 2024

Our theme for this year's kindergarten age children's day camp is Chameleon Color Carnival: A day camp with technology, animals, rides, and adventure!  This day camp includes five days of study, play, art, science, and thrills. It also includes three field trips plus multiple days of local exploration, all conducted in English by experienced native English teachers.

今年の幼稚園児向けデイキャンプのテーマは「カメレオンカラーカーニバル：技術、動物、乗り物、冒険が詰まったデイキャンプ！」です。このデイキャンプは、勉強、遊び、アート、科学、スリルを含む5日間！また、3回の遠足と、近隣への探索など、すべて経験豊かなネイティブの英語教師によって英語で行われます。

Target: Ages: 4 to 7 （幼稚年）新年中　〜（小）新１年生　However, older students may join.
対象年齢：4歳から7歳（幼稚園年中〜小学1年生新学期）ですが、年齢が上の生徒も参加できます。

Students enrolled in Lexis returnee / bilingual students may join, as well as students attending international kindergartens. This will be an advanced English camp, so all external students are required to have a level check to confirm ability level.

Lexisの帰国子女・バイリンガルの生徒や、インターナショナル幼稚園に通う生徒も参加可能です。このキャンプは上級レベルの英語キャンプであるため、外部からの生徒はレベルチェックが必要です。

Lunch, all materials a supplies as well as a snack are all included every day. Students will also receive a T shirt they can customize during the camp.

昼食、おやつが毎日提供されます。（すべての教材と用品も含む）参加生徒には、キャンプ中に自分でカスタマイズできるTシャツもお渡しいたします。

If you have special requests for meals, such as allergies, vegetarian, or foods for a picky eater, please be sure to include that in the signup information and we will do everything we can to accommodate all requests.

食事に関する特別な要望がある場合（アレルギー、ベジタリアン、好き嫌いなど）は、申し込み情報にその旨を記載してください。すべての要望に対応できるよう最善を尽くします。

Detailed Schedule

Day 1, Monday, April 1st: Science and Technology: Students will learn about technology and magnetism, building their own levitation device (designed in Europe, but built at Lexis!) Students can take the project home later in the week. We will study with books from the USA and Canada. Students will also have a chance to decorate their chameleon T-shirts.

【第1日目】月曜日、4月1日：科学と技術：生徒たちは技術と磁力について学び、自分たちの浮遊装置を作ります（ヨーロッパでデザインされましたが、Lexisで組み立てます！）。制作したプロジェクトは週の後半に持ち帰ることができます。アメリカとカナダの本で勉強します。また、生徒はこのキャンプのテーマ「Chameleon Color Carnival」に基づき、 カメレオンのTシャツをデコレーションする機会もあります。

Day 2, Tuesday, April 2nd: Art, Science and Fossils: Students will learn about fossils, reptiles and dinosaurs then have a chance to make their own fossils, which they can take home later in the week.

【第2日目】火曜日、4月2日：美術、科学、化石：生徒たちは化石、爬虫類、恐竜について学び、自分の化石を作る機会があります。これは週の後半に持ち帰ることができます。

Day 3, Wednesday, April 3rd: Showa Kinen Park: With cherry trees in bloom, kids will spring on spiderwebs, bounce on the bouncy domes, ride on trains, and enjoy games and sports outside during our field trip to Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa.

【第3日目】水曜日、4月3日：昭和記念公園：桜が満開の中、子どもたちは昭和記念公園（立川）の遠足で、スパイダーウェブで跳ねたり、バウンシードームで弾んだり、電車に乗ったり、自然の中でゲームやスポーツを楽しみます。

Day 4, Thursday, April 4th: Animal Study and Art: Students will discuss animals, study with books from the USA and Canada, decorate their fossil art project, and bounce on a bouncy castle.

【第4日目】木曜日、4月4日：動物研究と美術：生徒たちは動物について話し合い、アメリカとカナダからの本で勉強し、化石のアートプロジェクトをデコレーションし、バウンシーキャッスルで遊びます。

Day 5, Friday, April 5th: Zoo Adventure and Reptile Cafe: In the morning, students will enjoy rides, and see the wide variety of animals they take care of at Inokashira Zoo. After lunch as a grand finale, students will be able to learn more about reptiles and how they live, then get a chance to interact with and even hold chameleons and other reptiles at the reptile cafe in Kichijoji.
【第5日目】金曜日、4月5日：動物園の冒険と爬虫類カフェ：午前中に生徒たちは井の頭動物園で乗り物を楽しみ、世話をしている様々な動物を見ます。昼食後の大フィナーレとして、吉祥寺の爬虫類カフェで、爬虫類についてさらに学び、カメレオンやその他の爬虫類とのふれあいを楽しみます。

すべての活動は、カナダまたはアメリカ出身の経験豊富なネイティブ教師によって完全に英語で指導・運営されます。夏休みや冬休みのキャンプと同様に、私たちの春休みキャンプも楽しく、教育的で、ユニークで、モチベーションを高めるように設計されています。生徒たちに春休み中に英語での特別な体験を楽しんでもらうことを目指しています。勉強の時間に関しては、英語能力に基づいて分けます。帰国子女、バイリンガルの生徒、そして英語を母国語とする生徒は、科学と英語の両方で北米の教室レベルの課題に挑戦します。私たちは、STEM（科学、技術、工学、数学）と英語の両方に興味を持つ女の子と男の子を奨励したいと考えています。

All activities are directed and led entirely in English by experienced native teachers from either Canada or the USA. Just like our summer and winter camps, our spring camp is designed to be fun, educational, unique and motivating. We aim to give students the chance to enjoy exceptional experiences in English during their spring break. As for study time, all study time will be separated based on English ability. Returnees, bilingual students and native English speakers will be challenged at North American classroom levels in both science and English. We hope to encourage both girls and boys to be interested both in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) as well as English.

午前：Grammar, Spelling, Reading, Writing(クラスはレベル分け）

午後：Activity Time!

• 1日目 (月曜日 4/1): 科学とテクノロジー - 技術工作
  近隣の公園へお出かけし、科学と技術の基礎を学びます。
  
• 2日目 (火曜日 4/2): 爬虫類と恐竜 - 化石アートプロジェクト
  恐竜とその時代を探究し、化石作りのアートプロジェクトに挑戦。近隣の公園散策も予定しています。
  
• 3日目 (水曜日 4/3): 昭和記念公園への遠足
  自然の中で学び、昭和記念公園の広大な敷地を探索します。
  
• 4日目 (木曜日 4/4): 動物学習、化石プロジェクト
  動物について学び、化石プロジェクトをさらに深めます。近隣の公園散策も含まれます。
  
• 5日目 (金曜日 4/5): 井の頭動物園と爬虫類カフェへのお出かけ
  動物園訪問を通じて動物に関する知識を深め、爬虫類カフェで実際に触れ合う体験をします。

対象年齢: 4歳から7歳（幼稚園年中〜小学校新1年生対象）ただし、年長の生徒も参加可能です。

受講料（ランチ代、教材費込み）

すべての活動は、カナダまたはアメリカ出身の経験豊かなネイティブ教師によって完全に英語で指示され、指導されます。夏や冬のキャンプと同様に、春のキャンプも、楽しく、教育的で、ユニークで、モチベーションを高めることが目的で設計されています。学生たちに、春休みに英語で特別な体験を楽しんでもらうことを目指しています。学習時間は、英語能力に応じて区分されます。帰国子女、バイリンガル、英語を母国語とする生徒は、科学も英語も北米の教室レベルで挑戦されます。女子も男子も、英語だけでなくSTEM（科学・技術・工学・数学）にも興味を持ってもらいたいと期待しています。
